Texas Bluescale Quail???

Can anyone tell me about this breed. Does it do ok with heat, hard to raise, hatch, etc?

I owned a pair of them some years back but I was never able to get them to lay or hatch any babies and so I eventually sold them. They didn't seem to have any problem with our hot summers here. And they were quite docile I never had a problem with them being mean but they were never tame like the chickens although they would come out and free range with my chickens and come back in at night. Can't tell you much more since I didn't have them all that long. They are beautiful birds.

They can definitely handle the heat. They live in some of the hottest, driest parts of Texas and New Mexico.
