Hello! Anyone else from Texas? Located in Temple, near Fort Hood. I got my first chicks in mid April from the feed store. Guessing they are about 8-10 weeks. One rooster and pullet I believe, Cochin bantams, also have 4 chicks we picked up (inside under a heat lamp!). 2 Silkies, 1 Crested Polish and 1 Tolbunt Polish, we are picking up a few more chicks this weekend from a different breeder. A permanent coop is in the works, with my husband diligently working hard! :)
