When do the babes get moved from the brooder to the coop?? My husband is ready to get them out of the trough on the front porch and into the coop. But we still have one semi small one. She’s 5 weeks old.

If you haven't yet, start weaning off the heat. Do a week where you increase the time with no supplemental heat a little bit each day. By the end of the week take the heat away entirely and put them in the coop.

I’m in Texas so they‘be been off the heat lamp for a while. I’m mostly concerned with my little runt baby.

If it's not too chilly at night, I'd think they'd be fine outside. I put mine out around 4 weeks (the coldest it gets at night here is low 70s). One of mine is smaller and slower to feather, but since they sleep in a cuddle pile, everyone's cozy.
