LOL, the poor things.. they sound.. LOL godzilla.
If you listen to this one- After the first few seconds, you can hear in the background- they have quite a few of those roosters. I would definately be laughing- for the first few times. Then I'd go batty.

OH my gosh! I think I'd have to put it out of its misery! It must have to take one heck of a long deep breath first. Haha

I think it's mostly a European thing (Germany, maybe?) to breed chickens for the long-crowing trait. I believe there were some chickens in a Middle Eastern or close to Middle Eastern country that were famous for that naturally, but they were wiped out in a war.

The are some Japanese chickens that are famous for BOTH longcrowing and having long sickles that never moult.

Here's a site all about long-tail fowl and longcrowers: http://www.longtail-fowl.com/ The pics are amazing!

I didn't see that one last night. I wonder if there has ever been a long crowing contest. That boy just might be the winner!

And I thought that my RIR roo with the mile long neck crowed for a long time! I much prefer my silkies and my little polish roo's crowing, so soft, just all the time!
