Hi, I am Lj. This is my first time raising chicken. I have always want to but my hubby was not too sold on the idea. Then along came grandkids... Who can say no to them?? Grandad ( my hubby ) relented and even went all the way to Mesa to pick up a chicken coop. The grandkids painted it and got it all ready. We went to a feed store and the grandkids each picked one out. So now I have six little chicks 
( we have 8 grandkids buy two were not in town).
That was three weeks ago and all is going well. I knew I would enjoy the chicken but I had know idea how much fun they would be. Enough about me... The real reason I joined BYC was to say THANK YOU!!! I have been on this website everyday for three months. I love it, all the members are so kind and helpful. I learned so much and you all gave me the confidence to go for it.
