Hi, ChickyDoodle Mom here,
I am new to raising chickens. Mine are currently 2 weeks old. I ordered 10 Rhode Island Red chicks from TSC. When I checked the website it said the chicks would not be available until next month so I went to TSC and purchased 12 chicks. Rhode Island Reds/Buff Laced Polish/Golden Laced Wyandotte. When I went to cancel the online order I was told the order had shipped.
I have been running a dog rescue and sanctuary for the past 10 years so chicken math works for me. We have returned the coop we had purchased for 10 chickens and are currently building our own.
I have already found so much useful advice here. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

Good idea to build your own coop so it's big enough!
