Hello,

My name is Ben and I am new to Chickens. I am a first generation Chicken owner, with hopefully many generations to come.

We had the delivery of 12 EE chicks 2 weeks ago for a back yard coop/run I built. They are growing quickly and feathering out nicely.

I have been coming almost daily to this site for information and the awesome articles and forums. So, I thought it was finally time to become a member.

My wife and two kids live in North Georgia, US. I am a Firefighter/Paramedic in the Atlanta Metro and an avid organic gardener.

We also have two beautiful "shelter dogs", that hopefully won't be giving the chickens any grief in their run! (which I don't have a pic of yet)

Thank you

There’s a link on the page above to the Learning Centre - it’s a great resource. If you have a specific topic in mind, just type it in the search box - there's a wealth of information on past and present threads.

Each week, various topics are discussed, which can also be a great resource - https://www.backyardchickens.com/a/topic-of-the-week-thread-archive
