My name is Stacy and I was first introduced to chickens in my late 20's. I purchased a pair of white silkies at an auction and was hooked! Now 20 years later, my youngest son joined 4H in our community and joined the Poultry club. That was my cue to get back into chickens. We just purchased 4 hens and 1 roo from different areas of southwestern Ontario as well as two chicks to get us started.

We have three dogs (all rescues) as well as two Sphynx cats as I'm allergic to the furry kind lol.

I found this site as we began experiencing issues with one of our hens, just weeks after picking her up. She's still hanging in there and I'm hoping we can find some answers here or rules some issues out!
