Any Rabbit Breeders/Owners Here at BYC?

Ok then!

Here they are! The totally black one is named Coal. One of the black with brown ones is named by my sister, and she name it “Day and Night”, but I honestly can’t tell her/him apart from the other black/brown one. The other brown and black one is unnamed.
The black browns are black otters.

I hope it’s OK. I am resurrecting this thread. Looks like no one posted for a couple years. I just got 2 adorable lionhead bunnies!! Want to find other bunny peeps and resources on caring for them all advice appreciated!!
Here is Petunia and Clover.

They came to me all full of matts . I’ve been grooming them little by little they hadn’t been handled so I’m moving slowly. I was told they are three months old. I’m working very hard to separate the room I have them in to avoid an early pregnancy for Petunia. Hopefully tomorrow, I’ll have them in their separate bunny cages that I picked up yesterday at garage sale . I have them in a dog cage at night now. And I let them run around the special room I have for them all day. It’s a room on the lower level of my home but not really a basement because it has a door to the yard. It has a concrete floor that’s painted and plenty of windows. Sort of like a utility room. I use the other side of it as a duck hospital room.

Thank you! I’m still working on getting them separated before she gets pregnant. Hopefully, I can get it done in the next couple days. If she was really 3 months old when I got them like I was told, she might not be pregnant yet because I also read somewhere that they start being able to conceive around four months, and I’d like her to grow up some more before she has a pregnancy. I just got some more extra cages from another yard sale and rabbit fencing barrier to divide their room space. Which also means two of everything like bowls and feeders and potty corners lol It’s sad though they love each other and each other and won’t be able to except through the little fence awww

Is there a way you could get at least one rabbit fixed?

They really do want to be together; mine spend a lot of time grooming and playing with each other.

Also, I believe I read that they can mate through a fence, so just keep that in mind too :).
