thanks everyone for all your advice on here after many failed attempts I finally have a chick that is living and doing well. it is a week old and has been eating and drinking fantastically. my question is now I feel that he is lonely and I found other chicks from another breeder. is it okay to mix them in with my chick they are all the same age within a day or two

If they have been keep inside in clean conditions I would not be too hesitant especially if they are about the same age. After abut three weeks you should probably do a Corid in the water treatment just to be sure it did not bring in Coccidiosis.
