Thanks for letting me join!! Chicks arrived Easter; they are beautiful! It is amazing just watching them grow! They are also quite hilarious at times! We LOVE them! Looking forward to the eggs in the future! We just placed them in the pen one week ago; they seem to have adjusted well to that; however, they do not want to sleep in their coop at night! They go in, look around and come right back out! Does anyone have any ideas about how to get them to sleep in the coop instead of just visiting it?! How to make it more inviting to them?? Thanks!!

Hi, glad you're enjoying the flock! You may have to pick up each bird and place them in the coop every night for a while until they catch on to the idea thats's where they are supposed to sleep.

When I introduce birds to a new coop, I actually keep them locked in the coop for a week before letting them outside. But it could be there are some things about their coop that they don't like, perhaps it's too dark or something.
