How old is your chick? If very young, this could be splayed leg and yes, you'd need to splint it but a picture or video of it would be helpful to be sure. At the minimum, I'd get some B-Complex. A small chick would get 1/4 of a regular human B-Complex vitamin. Poultry Cell or Nutri-Drench vitamins in their water would also help. You can also post this in the Emergencies forum for more help.
