Also, my black bear hasn't gone into hibernation yet. I found a big, fat pile of huckleberry shit right in the middle of the woods trail today. I hadn't seen any signs of him in a couple weeks, but apparently, he's still out and about.

When I closed the doors tonight the coyotes were signing in mass. Give one shivers to hear them that close.

I have them right outside my door from fall through winter. Hear a pack light up and it sends shivers down your spine.The coyotes are close here too. I swear they sound like they're just outside the door. I like hearing them, but when I have birds again, they are going to be the first assholes to die.
I prefer listening to the hooters.
