We have 8 bouncing baby Easter chicks, and I owe a whole lot of thanks to you guys,

from the homemade incubator to using a hygrometer.

from setting the eggs to candeling them.
from locking down to hatching them...

I wouldnt have known how if it wasnt for yall:^}

This week I hatched some chicks out, had the neighbor's dog kill some chicks, ordered my first batch of eggs (should arrive friday), discovered a hen went broody -- played nest box politics with her, fought the broody for an egg to make cheesecake with (she is stealing ALL the eggs!!) and began to contemplate how to make a safe area for the baby chicks, so the neighbor's dog won't kill future chicks....
