I posted a pic in the first eggs thread.What beautiful markings. We can't thank enough for our quail. The little girl who was injured is recovering nicely. She is acting like she'd like to be back with the others but I'm going to let her heal a while longer. They can see each other and hear each other. The others are, um, shall we say, maturing! Very silly to watch. So glad we decided to get some. They're so much fun!

Hey, I saw your note on Jackiedon's thread about the egg. I'm so darn busy
that when I get on BYC all I can do is repsond to threads I'm already in.

They are amazing little birds aren't they? We love ours and I'm thrilled you
are enjoying yours. The eggs are so unique. We are getting 3 to 4 a day now
and have a few in the bator too.

Don't you love the crow? I have my bedroom window cracked open so i can
hear them in the morning. It's the coolest sound!

LOL! I was just happy and excited because I'm really enjoying them. They're still in the house so I really get to listen to them a lot. We're modifying one of the duck doghouses for them and it's not ready yet. The injured on is in a chick brooder until I'm ready to try putting her back in with the others. We're calling them Leapfrog, Popcorn and Hopscotch for starters. Can't tell them apart so it doesn't matter that we've only got three names. Oh and it's three eggs now not just that one! Can't wait till the other three girls start laying.
