1. I am new to raising chickens, but my husband was born and raised on a farm. We decided to get our first chickens back on November 6, 2018. We received 6 chicks from a co-worker.
2. We have 10 chickens right now. We started going a little crazy and buying older chickens, which has not gone too well.
3. We have the following chickens, 1-golden comet, 3-rhode island reds, 1-leghorn, and a silkie rooster.
4. So far i love just being able to see how far they have come along and excited that we just started getting some eggs.
5. Car shows and off-road driving
6. We went from being a family of 5 to now 3 since we have 2 sons away at school. We have 2 dogs. I work at a children's hospital in the neurology department and my husband works construction. Very excited about raising chickens.
7. i googled and BYC came up on the search and think it is awesome to share the same interests with others.
