Hi, I’m Debbie and live in Central Florida. I have 10 Barred Rocks that I got last April. My partner has raised game chickens all his life and currently has 4 roosters, 5 hens and 5 biddies that we don’t know the sex of yet. I love that when I go outside all my girls come running to me from wherever they are! I know they just love me for the treats but that’s ok.

Welcome to BYC!! Letting your hens get used to you picking them up and pet them is a good way to get them to like you more than just the ‘food lady’
If you post pic of your chickens you don’t know the gender of in the breeds and gender forum, we can help you sex them!
