Hi I’ve read many BYC threads before but I’m finally joining, so thank you for having me!
I have grown up with chickens my whole life but I started my own flick last year.
We started out with a mix and have continued that tradition. Currently adding in some Marans and Olive Eggers for a variety in our egg colors.
We have 1 RIR rooster Rod, he’s the rooster that mimes are made of, he chases my husband and thinks every square inch of this place is his! But he’s good to his girls and keeps an eye on the place!
We just built a bigger coop and I look forward to watching our chicks grow and fill up the the nesting boxes.
