- I've had my flock for 5 years now, but I would consider myself new to chickens.

(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
Thankfully I've had a pretty calm experience. I lost one hen to a dog when we first got them years ago - I love our hens and even our Rooster, let's just say - he's really good at his job!
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
We live on a farm and have 3 horses - so showing them is fun. Just hanging out and fixing/cleaning things
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
just myself and my partner, we live on 20 acres in Middle GA - we have 6 cats (we started with one, but after moving here ended up with 5 more - they're the mice control team), 5 dogs (same as above, started with 2 - ended up with 3 more) and 3 horses.

I've been a lurker of this community for years! I finally joined and am excited to contribute and be apart of the community.
