Thanks to another BYC member - I have my first chicks!

I am so excited and so is my son! He's 4 and all the way home he kept asking to hold the box to see what they were doing! BUT when we got home and I asked him if he wanted to hold one he said NO I don't want to be pooped on or pecked at! LOL Kids!

My dog is obsessing over the tote with them in it. Will figure that out before bed!

It was nice to meet your family and I am glad you are no longer chickenless. Her son was more interested in my cat and the poodle.

The chicks are a week old today.

My daughter is going to be surprised when she comes home tomorrow from her sleepover! LOL

We have named our chicks:

The easter egger is Hermione.

The Buff Orp is Ginny (as in Ginny Weasley).

Yup Harry Potter Character names LOL
