Hi Everybody,

Just wanted to thank all of you who helped me start up this new hobby of mine. I have always wanted to keep chickens but never had the time. This year was the time. Here’s a little retrospective of the last few months of my first flock.

Well they were getting big and were going to outgrow their house pretty soon. I needed to start on the coop.

Plywood was kind of pricey for me. However I’ve sealed and pained the heck out of the wafer board, so we’ll hope it’s good.

Fast forward to this afternoon

The girls were moved out into the coop this past Saturday. They seem to like it, especially outside!!! Love the grass!!! They are 9 and a half weeks old

Nice flock! I love your coop! You did a really good job. I love the roosting levels. Looks like it will be easy to clean. Your ladies look like they like their new place.
