Thanks to my pea picking friends and I mean it.

Well, Monday, Happy Hatch'en came through and helped me pick some butter peas (small little butter beans). And then today jjdward came and picked some field peas....

I'm so overwhelmed by these acts of kindness. You guys just rock. All this help and no charge......It's what I call God's love in action.

It's been a tough trail physically this year with one thing, another thing, another thing....kinda like Ground Hog day movie.....just different docs, hospitals, tests and treatments... Your calls, prayers and pms and visits really mean a lot y'all. Without a doubt, BYC members really just are the neatest.

I could live to be a hundred and never repay all the kindness I've received in the past year and never repay 1/2 of it.

Well all I can say.....is it's folks like you that lift the world up to a better place.

I picked and shelled so many peas last week till I wanted to puke peas LOL I put up 47 quart size bags of peas and butter beans all last week right by myself...well, my DH did go help me pick them!

So nice you have folks to help you out Bargain, you are such a nice lady!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yep, this is hands down, the nicest site I have ever been on!!!!

Everyone does such nice things for people. They give lots of stuff away. Give lots of good advice and really seem to care about others. It is wonderful and that is why I love it!!!

Okay I would also be so remiss in not thanking all the people who have given me so much support since my joining in so many more than chicken ways.. I love those little pm's that share how the eggs I sent were and pics of the babies..... I love the funny stories and the pm's that even say....what's up where you been, are you okay.......

I think hubby is going to get an id so he hears more from me. LOL.

It just amazes me how really well folks get along and how sooo many people from all around the world get along so nicely. As a retired social worker, I think that this board could truly break the mold for how people from sooo many different backgrounds are so congenial....and yes it's much more than eggs.

Bargain, I know what you mean about having a rough year. It has been one trail after another for me as well. I think God puts folks in our path to help us see that we aren't alone in our walk. It was nice to talk with you today and see all you pretty birds, and bunnies, and cats. It did me a lot of good. I'm sure the amount of peas I picked didn't do you much good!!LOL!

There's a hymn (modern) - Thank you for giving to the Lord (I think Michael Bolton...my tape player broke and I'm clueless now) All these folks start telling the person about how you helped someone else....Well the humble and back breaking sweaty act of picking peas is just one way of showing caring! I don't know if Michael Bolton would let me add the verse Thank you for picking those beans when I was so sick and had that bruised and broken rib that made picking so hard. Thank you for driving to help a total stranger.

The fact that this act of help and compassion came from someone I HAD Never Met meant even more. You Angels....all of you...Just cannot write thank you enough and know I'm leaving a lot of people out....It's 5:43 AM before morning chores...I'm trying to process orders and do paperwork but I just had to come here and tell you thanks. I'm crying tears of gratitude and love for all the caring here. And Yes, Miss_Jayne, I took my hormone pills last night...smile.

Bargain, I'm back in Lawrenceville, Friday night they announce the 5 finalist and crown Ms. Wheelchair USA on Saturday evening. I will be here until Monday of next week....
You folks reading this post and have never met Ms. Bargain and her Hubby are missing a piece of how a farm was worked years ago....no glitz and glamor here, just chickens, rabbits, turkeys, guineas, geese, cows, goats, green gardens. They both work extremely hard daily...Ms. Bargain is so small (but has a huge Christian Heart) that her hubby might have to put lead in her boots so the wind doesn't blow her to the next county.
