Love it!!!! This is basically the way I'm doing mine. The run will be 10x20, made from chain link panels (hardware cloth attached to bottom 3 ft), with flat wire "roof" for predator protection. My coop will be 6x12, made from the frame of a shed we are tearing off of our storage building. My girls will be in a shady part of the yard, so I will be waiting a while to add a rain-proof roof over half of the run. (already making plans to enlarge the run area .......but, shhhhhh!, don't tell my husband!! LOL)
