OK! Then we can invite the kids, too, and just have the stuffing. It's the best part, anyway. Mmmm, and the potatoes with gravy. I used to make a fabulous vegan wild mushroom gravy but dh won't eat fungi. Silly man.

Big bird to me for a chicken would be 7-8 lbs (dressed out of course, not live). If you have folks who don't eat meat you will need less. I use a roasting recipe on www.recipezaar.com "Rapid Blast Roast Chicken" Looks and tastes like a rotisserie chicken. I use it every time I roast, chicken or turkey. Love it.

We have four teenage boys to feed in our group as well as five adult men who can really eat, three younger kids who pack it away and I can eat as much as the men! And of course, a couple of women who eat normally! Two turkeys, the largest of 24-26 lbs in the oven and the 14-16 lb one in the Nesco roaster. Stuff both and an additional stuffing in the oven too.....We do have a double oven, that helps.
