Hope this isn't too off topic OP, but since you and some of the followers on this thread have old-timers, I wanted to tell you guys about a new arthritis rx that we're trying out.
Galliprant. Some of you may already know about it or currently use it (its been out since 2016, I think), but this is my first experience with it. It's a targeted NSAID, specifically for osteoarthritis, and supposedly easier on the liver/kidneys than other options. (So much so that its approved for long-term use)
We just started my old girl on it two days ago and she was bouncing around last night, I was shocked and so happy for her.
