to be honest, i don't know exactly how old my chickens are but i know they were maybe a few weeks old when i got them in June, so they are about 5 months old(ish).... i know Polish and Silkies are not known for their egg production but i'm a very shallow chicken owner; looks are very important to me

i'll just have to join one of those "egg wait" threads

and believe me, if you own chickens a city, you HAVE to have a sense of humor.... try explaining why you need a litterbox but you don't have a cat (nest box).​

Excellent! My cityslicker husband won't admit it but he loves the chickens almost as much as I do.

Yeah, polish seem like they take forever to give eggs. My polish girl JUST laid and egg and I got her in May, I think. So far, I've only gotten one small egg.
