My husband asked this morning what eggs were in the incubator *now* lol.
I said, "Oh! did the egg fairy come?" He looked at me w/ a raised eyebrow so I said they were the v comb chickens (Crevecour). Still not very impressed. Though he made a bad joke about them being "deviled eggs". I then pointed out that they are white eggs which means that next year we won't have to buy white eggs to dye (we have only brown and very dark brown layers). He thought that was a much better excuse lol
