That didn’t go well!

Thanks guys! I will get some good pics of the coop in just a bit. With the Cockrell, it was odd, he wandered out, and walked under A bush, not bothering anyone, when my big bossy girl went into the bush to mess with him. He got scared and ran back into his area. I will try to let them mingle again later today, I’m just so afraid of somebody being really injured or killed. And I’m still not sure how my big rooster will take to another rooster, even if it is half his size.
 
As mentioned earlier 1 week old chicks( no older than than 3 wks) are accepted. Roosters fertilize the eggs of their favorite hens & encourage them to hatch chicks. Some pick the nest & sit on the eggs too. They accept their own chicks better than day old chicks placed under a broody.The devils in the details!
