While I had all the chickens pretty much in one place this evening I decided to scoop one up here and there and check their feet and legs. Impy, the naughty little cockerel that should have been soup long ago watched me with great interest. I thought he was worried that it would soon be his turn and he does not like being picked up by the ultimate alpha, but Impy had other ideas.

The instant I picked up Thor, the alpha roo, Impy saw his chance. He started nailing...err, I mean mating...Thor's hens one right after the other. He managed to get three of em before I sat Thor down. Thor was furious and the hens weren't thrilled either.

    Sneaky little cockerel. [IMG]

Quote:Please Linda, let's not encourage the naughty little roo. If you insist on encouraging him I'm going to have dust off my cookbooks and find that yummy chicken and dumplings recipe I remember with fondness.

    First, find the can opener.
Second, open a can of Sweet Sue Chicken and Dumplings.
Third, stuff Imp in the can. (*might have to dump a few dumplings for this)
    Fourth, add chopped parsley.
    Fifth, solder can shut again.
    Sixth, ship can to California.

    (* that's why they're called dumplings)
