I used to have chick fever pretty bad...but then I got silkies that try to hatch year-round hahaI have chick fever. This is making it worse. Too CUTE![]()
Break them like any other bird. Mine aren't stubborn at about staying broody with no eggs. My sebrights were 1000 times worseDoes anyone know how to deal with chicken fever when silkies have it.
I just let my Silkies go on being broody. I used to break them, it they are broody more often than not, so it got to be too much work - lol! Mine do well getting off the nest to eat and drink, so I don't really worry about them. I check on them every day when they're on the nest, though, and I sometimes have to trim nails and beaks.Does anyone know how to deal with chicken fever when silkies have it.
