That is an absurd price! I do like how they have someone do a survey of your "farm" and help you select the correct breeds for you. IF I have a few hundred grand laying around, I can't say that I wouldn't invest in an expensive coop! Not this one but still. I also like how they donate. " For every Heritage Hen Mini Farm purchase, NM will donate $3,000 to The American Livestock Breeds Conservancy, a nonprofit organization that protects genetic diversity through the conservation and promotion of endangered breeds."

At least they are making an effort ! So kudos to NM for representing chickens but no so much for their prices and non-sufficient design.

I much prefer the £130,000 ($210,000) coop that someone is building in England. It's limestone and could last a few hundred years, unlike that cheap $100k coop.



It goes in the garden of this home, where it will fit in very nicely.

I'll prefer the coops on BYC over that. I would use the $100K for a lifetime of feed. Chickens don't care where they live but do the care about food.
