I needed to make another coop before winter and was going to stop at the lumber yard, but today I drove past McDonald's and noticed they were remodeling. I asked the supervisor if I could go through the dumpster and look for wood. He told me to, "Go for it". So I found some 2x4 and osb saving me about a total of $50. I decided to screw the osb onto the framing and had to pick up one sheet of 1/2 osb and 1# of 1 1/4 screws. Total $12, not bad!
The new coop is 4x6x4.
I made center jacks and used plywood gussets and 1 1/4 screws to hold everything together.
I'll post more pictures when I finish it all this weekend.
