WORRIED! So many of you are hearing chirping and seeing rocking. I see or hear nothing. I set on the 9th....is that the day all of you set that are having early hatching?

I set on the 9th as well, and I have nothing yet...! You're not the only one. I'm not too worried yet. If I have no movement by tomorrow night, I will start getting a bit nervous...!

Since you set on the 9th, its not time to worry. Some of the pips and hatches you are seeing now are from eggs set early, and some our just early hatchers. Remember the ones hatching now are a very small percentage of the 7000+ eggs set for the hatch along.

And I decided to quickly adjust the temp and humidity. We're now at 99 degrees and about 63% humidity. Yay!

So, I set on the 9th... so they're not due yet. I see that 2 of my 3 eggs that have pipped... have 3/9 written on them. So they are the ones that I had collected that day and I just put them in the incubator last minute "just cuz". I can't see the date on the 3rd egg. Could that be why they're hatching early? They were very fresh... likely still warm when I put them in. Hens do it.... so I figured I can too.

Wish mine would get curious! Maybe if I go throw a party in the bator room???

I think I am checking the bator every 20 minutes or so, using a flashlight to peer at the eggs hoping for some movement, even a TEENY wobble!!! Tapping lightly on the windows, chirping, cheeping, talking to the babies...

Every time I check on here someone else has a pip or a new chick out!!!

Trying to be patient, but not doing so well right now...

Boy I have been so busy. Got my eggs in lock down yesterday at noon. Laid them down on their side. As it worked so good for me the last hatch.. I am not into candling so all eggs looked healthy (no Leakers) I expect non fertiles and quitters and just cannot outters. I like doing the eggchecks after the hatch. I just loved how nice the tops of the egg pipped off in last hatch. oh 113 eggs now to count down...
PS won my cream legbar eggs on Ebay Think I figured out this bidding thing.. LOL Back to work. Happy Hatching

PS has anyone made hatching boxes out of 1/2 inch hard wire the size of egg cartons. I am going to try it...So many projects so little time...

Just locked down 32 of 42. On day 9 I found a leaker and had 9 duds.

Baby is back down, prayers please! He's still hanging on and I got him to perk back up but leaving in a few to go get some vitamins for him... Not 100% sure he will be alive when I get back though cause I won't be back for 2-2 1/2hrs to go get my son and grab vitamins.
I leave almost an hour early to get a parking spot at his school that we don't have to walk several blocks when I walk to the door to get him. Ugh...this sucks ... Maybe just not meant to be. He's not star gazing though just weak!
