Ok, not going to panic just yet. #5 seems to be getting things loosened up. I think he just might make it on his own. Still no other pips on last 7 eggs. Sigh!

Just found this today - don't know if any of my eggs will hatch since they are being incubated by momma hen, not an incubator, and we had record lows this week She's sitting on five eggs - the roo is an Americauna, and the eggs are from a Black Star, an Easter Egger and an Americauna. Hoping to hear some peeps or at least see some rocking and rolling when I check them this morning.

Ok, starting to worry about one that zipped only halfway around. Keeps pushing up & not getting out. Membrane starting to brown. Should I assist & how exactly? Been like this for about an hour.

I have one that zipped last night, It's made the zip larger this morning but not even trying to push out. Mine might be stuck. If it's not out by the time I get back from recycling I'll just remove the top of shell to see if it can crawl out or if stuck.

Besides this one I've only 3 eggs left to do anything. 11 in the brooder resting.

I have 10 so far, 3 more pipped,4 are a rocking and rolling and chirps, 3 just hanging out,

Didn't get much sleep but worth it, glad today is saturday.

HURRAY! One Polish hatched. I had to assist the Polish as she was wrapped up quite tightly. Three Barnevelders are pipped. 27 more doing nothing yet. High anxiety time.

How long has has he been struggling? Could be resting for the next round of zip. Mine is at least pushing with force. I'll keep my fingers crossed for ya!

The chick that fist pip yesterday is going to need some help. I'm putting it off a little longer, but I can see that the blood has receded. The chick is too big for the shell and it can't get out on it's own. The fully hatched chick is doing fine, but not chirping. Poor little thing is so tired! It woke me up chirping this morning and I have another pip. The chick is working on making it's way out. Still nothing from the game eggs and the internally pipped duck egg still isn't doing anything.
