Someone convince my hubby to let me keep one or two from this batch instead of giving them all away.. LOL. he said NO MORE...

But I only have TWO!! The city says I'm allowed up to five...

Only 2 chickens wow you have will power! Id have the 5 limit and be hiding about 12 more lol

IM guessing but sounds right dont you cook it a long time then to make it thick?
GEt rid of the water in it Look on youtube Probably there everything else is!
! think it takes a LOT to make just a little maple syrup why it cost so much

Yes, all trees do have sap, and yes, it is clear, but only maples have enough sugar content to make it worth boiling down. Even then it takes over 40 GALLONS of sap to make 1 gallon of Maple Syrup!!!

Oh hmmm now Im stuck. So all sap looks the same? can I tell by tasting the sap that I collected? I am very new to this and feel very clueless

Oh no! I just did a Google search of egg pictures with bacteria rings, and I think that's what it might be! That means I may not have any eggs hatch at all!

I feel so bad! I checked them just a few days ago and they were alive and fine. I tried to be really careful with them and not move very fast. I hope I didn't kill them

I had the same thing and thought i messed up. not even sure what i was "supposed" to be seeing. Based on suggestions, I left them in, and a couple days later candled again. thats when i saw actual movement! They probably are fine...

Didn't you get an incubator? I thought I read that you got one..go get some eggs, and set them. You will still be fine for the hatch along if they are set by tomorrow!! It isn't too late! Go for it!

As a reminder, post pictures of your total eggs set for the hatch - so we can record them and get the "How many will hatch contest going". The eggs need to be set between 3/7-3/11 to qualify for this hatch.

We got baby goats today!! Taffy is one of our nubians and had quads!! Three made it and are looking good... First babies of the year so Spring must be here!! We have more goats and pigs to come and of course just a few chickens and turkeys.. LOL
