40 Belgian d'Uccle mille fleur eggs setting this evening (was way to busy yesterday, plus had to seal the deal on being able to set more by selling the ones hatched this week - which I have, all 14 of them in under 5 days!). This is a test in how older eggs do though. Had a great fertility rate with the last hatch, but they were all 10-11 days old at setting. I keep them at a very steady temp of 65 degrees until setting in an old vintage fridge (not turned on of course) in my kitchen as an "egg safe". I have been collecting this 40 eggs for about 2 1/2 weeks, so the viability of some may be low, but I'm going for it anyways. I'll try to snap a quick photo and let you all see. Pretty excited to have a full turner of these things.

I forgot to add in I have 22 set

Theyare adorable. It is wonderful that you are taking care of them. I love tuxedo cats. We had one for 20 years. He was the best.

One of the barn cats had kittens Saturday evening.. most of hers are tuxedos!

Awwww how adorable! They are precious. I hope the pregnant kitty we're fostering has her kittens soon...we're on pins and needles! We've never been thru this before, so we don't know what to expect really...

hopefully she's able to take care of them.. lol.. you need a lot of spare time if you have to bottle feed!

Very cute. My Bitey Kitty was bottlefed by the rescuer. I am very grateful to that person for taking such good care of her and make it a point to post pictures of the cat on FB where friends in common show them to the rescuer. I like for the rescuer to know that this one turned out well and has a good life.

It looks like the two white ones are going to have the Siamese pattern.

But, yeah, I harken back to "kitten season" at the emergency clinic when I see them.

yeah.. we are expecting them to have the Siamese points.. every day the markings get a tiny bit darker

lol. the kittens have been staying in one of my incubators!.. yeah.. we use them for things other than hatching

(but they work great for keeping little critters safe and warm)!

Oh my, how adorable! Looks like a lot of work too! My kids are bugging me for a cat, but DH and I don't want a litter box. And outdoor kitties wouldn't last long here.

the outdoor ones have a tough time here too thanks to coyotes and the neighbor's dogs... it's funny though.. the ones who aren't spayed or neutered last the longest.. all I can figure is that with the extra hormones they are more aware of predators...
we supply them with plenty of food and shelter... and they do have jobs to do (keep rodent population under control).. but sometimes the larger predators win.. luckily for these guys we will be keeping them in the house only. With their little immune systems lacking the extra antibodies from Mom cat.. they won't be able to handle the great outdoors for quite some time..
We have a couple of people interested in the girls.. but I won't promise them to anyone until they are weaned and have been cleared by the vet..

Agree! Please caption it and enter. That is so funny! Seeing the eggs in hand then seeing the goose posturing tells it all. I don't know if I would have hung around for a photo with the way that goose is eyeing you up! Lol.
