Speaking of deformities, these pics I took of a chick that didn't make it to hatch time about two years ago. I normally check the embryo's if they quit late in incubation. This is what I found in one of the eggs....

As you see this chick was developing for a while with two beaks!

Collonca, Huastec and Black Quechua Olmec (I am so excited about all of the colors in these.)

DH suprised me and did a good job of taking pictures.

I set my eggies yesterday. I just couldn't wait! Plus mine always seem to go a day late so I'll probably be right on time

YaY.. Finally got a chance to post the eggs I set at noon. 66 total eggs. 8 Gold Laced Orps, 12 Welsummer, 7 Black Copper Maran, 4 Cream Legbar, 3 Olive Eggers, 8 Grocery Store eggs (just for kicks). The last 2 dozen are for a friend. He has Lavender Orps, Sex Links and I can't remember what he called them but its cross between a white legbar and a lavender. I didn't get my Spangled Orps in time for the hatch-a-long. So its gonna be another staggered hactch.

Looking forward to hatching with everybody.

Oh boy. Looks like I will be a day late, darn it! My hatching eggs came in today, and they still need to set. :/

But TOMORROW.... I will have in...
13 Silkie x Ameraucana Eggs
19 Fibro Phoenix Eggs
17 Blue/Green Layer Sumatra Eggs
6 Silkie Eggs
3 Blue Mystery Eggs (Silkie x EE, or Silkie/EE x Silkie)
2 Etc eggs that I will decide tomorrow (when my birds lay)

For a total of... 50 Eggs!
