@Happy Chooks.... I have a broody hatching them for me. But still.... Oh well.. we will be home Easter afternoon. I will be a worried hen.

We'll be out of town, too. How on earth am I going to make it through Easter brunch without bolting to the car and speeding the 3 hours home? Thankfully jbher will come over and check progress for me. Thank goodness for chicken-lovin' friends!

The only good thing is that if I'm not here then I can't open the bator during lockdown!

I have read up on these chickens. Their internal organs are black also. Black tongue... black everything!! The pictures were very weird to look at. Like an alien.. Quite cool.
