I have 5 pips and 1 hatched out of 6. My very first hatch I'm so excited!!! Must resist opening the bator.

Maybe what I'm going to call atypical wry neck, usually wry neck you think of the head going up and backwards, thus stargazing. This seems to be down, into it's chest. I did an image search on chicks with wry neck and a few were going down like yours. You don't happen to have any liquid infant vitamins without iron about do you?

No. All I have is sav a chick and probiotics.

Final hatch tally...of the 29 that went into lockdown we have 23 chicks. I'll post pics when I get them in the brooder after dinner.

Day 22-27 out of forty eggs so far. Candled remaining and there are still five with movement. Rest were clears or early quitters. A doz were in a friends incubator and didn't get candled but hatched 6 of those so far (included in 27). First Hatch-I'm thrilled! Couldn't have done it without y'all though. Had two out of really big eggs that were bleeders and 1 sticky. Everybody doing great though so far!

Well, my totals for this hatch is 4 into lockdown and 2 cute EE chicks hatched and miraculously I now have 2 EE and 4 Cuckoo Marans, amazing how they just appeared in the temporary brooder.

Cute babies..and, you are wearing the same thing I am wearing, only mine is on my right hand..makes it hard to type, I take it off at times when I want to get things typed faster. Then, ouch. :/

12 hatched so far, several pipped. My shipped eggs had mostly saddle shaped air cells... One pipped but couldn't zip all the way and died.... Our mixed eggs are hatching great! ☆ Hoppy Easter!!!
