Do these kind of stones work? I was thinking I had to dig around in the driveway. These would be much easier and look better.![]()
Hope this works. Stones to help maintain temp and pads to maintain humidity. Thanks @NotAFarm
are those eggs pink, or are my eyes going goofy at 2:30am?![]()
Setting my BBS orpington eggs tonight. Some are already 8 days old and i want to give them the best chance at hatching. Im concerned that only 4 out out of 18 had air cells. Think i will run humidity 20% for a few days,
OMG you are killing me, err my wife is since I just woke her up laughing my arse off!!Well someone did suggest to you a wet rag...........
I think you are right about the incubator. It was in my basement before the lockdown and it may have gotten cold around the edges because its a plastic one. Since I had very few eggs in there, probably it did not help keeping the temperature uniform either.First, adjust that incubator! It was to low in temps during the incubation.
You are doing what you can for the chick. I would get some poli vi sol without iron and give the chip a drop on the bead twice a day. Make it drink water and check to make sure the vent is open. They die withing a couple of days if the poo can't get out!
Do you think it has mushy chick disease? Sally has a great article on it.
