Ok guys I set my eggs today. I have lots of stuff to do tomorrow. I know it's not a lot but at least ten are a very rare breed. So 10 Orust chicken eggs and 9 barnyard mixes. I have 45+ eggs that are hatching March 9 th so. And I sold a bunch of eggs and only manage to get 9 from my girls the past couple days. But good luck all!!! So set 19 in total for easter hatch along.

Quote: Thanks Mike! I might add a few more if the Silkies decide to lay today. I'm trying to get as many of those as I can.

Quote: The white ones, the buff, and one of the barred chicks are EEs. The other 2 I'm having a hard time with. One has a straight comb, so probably BR. The other one seems to have a rose comb, so it could be a Dom. I don't actually know anything about the parent flock. The eggs were given to my DH for doing some awesome work on a customer's car. Blu forgot to ask them what breeds they had so I'd know what to expect.

Are you wondering if this thing is for real?

We wondered the same thing, incredulous that chickens could actually enjoy swinging.
We thought it was just a glorified roosting pole. We're happy to say that we were wrong!

This healthful supplement is not only good for your chicks,

it'll encourage them to eat more! Just check out this video, which shows how chicks prefer the feed with our all-natural Chickie Puffs mixed in. They love this supplement because it's chock-full of crushed Musca domestica pupae,
and even day-old baby chicks instinctually know that it's the "good stuff."

I have a hen that decided she also would like to participate in the HAL. So, in addition to what I set tomorrow, Franny will be entering with 8 olive eggers. I bet she gets a better hatch than I do, she is a 5 year veteran broody and one of the sweetest hens I have ever had

Then only my 12 Mille Fleur eggs count, but that's ok! I'll still post the pics of my other chicks too! My others are Ayam Cemanis... I can't wait!

Awesome!! Can't wait for pictures! :) Though it might a while :p the dates are more just to keep trsck of the numbers but we all love cute chicks :)

Ahh, okay! Didn't realize EEs cane in barred, though they come in basically every other color so not surprising hahah they could definitely be a BR or Dom, are they big? Or they could very well just all be mutts/barnyard mixes that happen to be barred!! Always fun figuring out mystery chicks imo! Though would have been nice if you knew haha
