I have 15 eggs in the incubator.

6 are from my neighbor and are buff orphington/wellsummer
The other 7 are from my own and are a EE roo and hens who are either EE, Silver Laced Wyandotte, or Bovan.

GUYS HELP!!!! My husband went to get my a bale of hay for the best boxes and the kids breakfast.... I was waiting for food!!! He brought back chicken nuggets.... And wings and feet and heads.... Mr. I don't want any more chickens saw 3 Dominique chicks and figured they would make a nice addition. Then as he was leaving a lady left a cheeping package on the counter saying the chicks weren't worth it. He peeked in and saw 3 tiny bantams. My daughter and son started crying saying they were all alone. Those were the last 3 so... Now I've got 6 day old chicks. 16 1-2 week olds and 23 adult birds. It was a mad scramble to find a box, spare heat lamp and the spare feed and water trays.

I've also got 20 eggs I just set and another several coming today to put in the incubator. HELP!!! I'm over run.

LOL OMG!!! Well, at least they're cute, right?

All set!! Total count: 26 eggs set. 16 barnyard mix and 10 possibly fertilized grocery store eggs. I don't have such high hopes for those store eggs, just wanted to experiment. Happy hatching everyone!

True. But I couldn't find the working heat lamp. I moved things around in my big brooder and inserted the box with the new babies. Heat for all

Umm @mlm Mike I'm vewy vewy sowwy and won't do it again... But I just went out and there was an EE egg in the box. So my new total is 12... I won't change it again...
