The only thing is if the blue egg layer is only carrying 1 blue egg gene, not all the pullets will lay blue...

Really it's no secret. Some kind if rooster from a blue egg ( Ameraucana or something like that) over White Leghorn hens.
@DMRippy has been breeding them for a couple if years.

Yep, have a friend that breeds them this way..A white leghorn hen, and an EE rooster.. and gets the prettiest blue eggs! And, the hens lay almost every day because of the leghorn in them. The birds are usually white with black spots.![]()
