The 7th Annual BYC Easter Hatch-A-Long!

Don't take this as me being insensitive, I will sure say a prayer for him. However to Penny hen's response, I feel like the hatch a long isn't a forum for politics and health coverage issues. Maybe you can start a forum on byc about that if it's a topic that meets the guidelines for byc.

True. I just needed to vent and the people here have always come through for me.

Hey all! Finally home, all kids in bed and sat down for a minute!! Long day - haven't caught up on posts but wanted to update on my daughter. So I feel like we got decent news but still aren't out of the woods just yet. (Which is making me a nervous wreck!!) The enlarged node hasn't grown anymore according to the doctor BUT it hasn't gotten any smaller either. And she has some other odd symptoms that have been ongoing throughout this.
The oncologist wants to see her again in 2 months to see if the node is still this swollen or if it's gotten larger - if either are the case, then she'll have to have an excisional biopsy of the entire node. We're hoping it shrinks back down before her May appt. He also told me if her symptoms worsen or it grows noticeably larger BEFORE May, then we need to come in sooner.

So...kind of left not feeling super great because it's so open ended still but we're optimistic!
Thank you all for the thoughts and prayers...her oncologist is 2 hours away so we had a long day.
Time to play catch up, read some posts and candle my day 10 air cells!!!

Try some colloidial silver. I used it in the interim between when they found I had breast cancer and when they operated. It was a bout a 6 week interval. When they spotted the 2 different kinds of cancer in the same breast they were 5 and 7 mm. One the day of the surgery they were 3 and 5 mm. I know that if I am found with cancer again I will try it first to see if it will take care of things without the surgery. I have been clear of cancer 6 years now.

BTW there is a study that shows that if you take low levels of aspirin that it does help prevent cancer from coming back. The study was done on a population of 50,000 nurses who had had cancer (and being nurses they knew how to make scientific medical observations) and what was the difference between those who had cancer reappear and those that remained cancer free.
