The 7th Annual BYC Easter Hatch-A-Long!

Thanks to the great ladies who have helped me replace the batch of eggs I ruined this morning. Easter hatch along take 2. Set 42 more eggs. English Orphingtons ( black mottled, blue, black and splash), EEs, Olive Eggers, Splash Marans, Langershan, and barn yard mix.

Not yet. Still have tomorrow for chicken eggs and another few days before a different fowl. Then they have to count.

That is true!

Someone will have to contact those that did not post a set number too. That can take time too since many drop out or do not post the numbers.

I am doing spread sheets on temperature&humidity, egg candling&pip/zip time and chick id and maybe daily weight.

Set 28 duck eggs (mix selection of pekin and Muscovy) and I set 42 barnyard mix chicken eggs (all standard size)

so that's 70 eggs set from me.

With a grand total of 81 chicken eggs set around 12:30 p.m and 2 goose eggs

Yes it's a 2 day window either way for chicken eggs. There is 1 other kind of egg to be set that will be included but I can't recall which one.

Cortunix quail and buttonquail on the 8th and 10th
