still having trouble with the humidity.. emptied the water the best that I could.. holding at 70.  put in a humidity thermometer and it is reading the same. will keep opening the lid once in a while for a short time to release the moisture. on day 5 now.  live in Ohio.  lot of rain lately, maybe that has something to do with it. have the incubator in a heated room kept at 64.
Put some uncooked rice in a small bowl and put in. It will bring humidity down.

Ok lady and gentlemen ,boys and gals ,

Im behind on setting them due to uncontrollable circumstances, but i just put in a whole 6 eggs lol watch out now !! But its ok , im hoping they are fertile :fl

So there we go
6 polish mixes

Ok. Day 7. Just candled. Out of the 64 set I had 1 that blood ringed, 21 unknown either to dark or might be clear and the rest are developing so well it's scary. I'm going to be flooded with babies!!!!

I set 8 shipped Lavender Orpington eggs on Sunday instead of Saturday, so a hatch date of Easter Day. I have candled them a couple times using a flashlight and I don't see anything hopeful as far as veins yet and I cant really decipher an air cell in most of them :( I have waited a long time to get Lavenders and I am very sad! Hoping if I candle Sunday that I see something to make me hopeful.
