It's cute but not a good thing to encourage, your face is too important to risk a poop coated claw in your eye or cheek.

I've had them climb on my back/shoulders numerous times over the years. Never once had claws to the face. Far more likely is someone pecking you in the eye. I've only been seriously hit one time that way and my eye watered for a day. Nothing remotely dangerous beyond that.
