[The Welch Chickens]

My sassy Prairie Bluebell Egger, Storm, always rode on my shoulder and flew on my head. She would also jump on any bowl or plate of food you were carrying (both human and chicken food!)
She died in her sleep a few weeks ago (at almost two years old) and the whole family was heartbroken. I'll have to find a photo of her to post

This is my sweet 7mo dominique hen, Meeka(real original, I know). Ive had her since she was a day or two old and she’s my favorite out of all our girls right now. Ever since she was a baby she’s loved to ride around on my arm and shoulder, and is trained to hop up on my arm on command. She also loves to peck my phone and is actively pecking my screen as I type this. She falls asleep in my lap, and will “preen” my hair if I let her.

This is her ‘sister’, Flo, a buff orpington(same age). She also likes to hop up on me but I don’t really let her since she likes to try to peck my eyes. She’s pretty sweet when she isn’t trying to blind me lol.
