I was not feeling well for a few days, then we were a super busy and we also left on vacation and some time during all that, I noticed my hens were broody with some eggs, so I marked them and let them be broody with those 6 eggs. Well dummy me didn't mark a date on the eggs or even a guess of a date on the calendar. So I could habe chicks any time between today and August 3....lol. I know I candled them some time during my crazy week and a half so they're fertile. Last time I thought we'd have chick's, they went all cannibal and ate the eggs about 10 days in. I know it has been at least 10 days. Gosh I could have marked them as far back as July 1 but more like...some time between July 4 and July 12. Just like chicken math : I want a new chicken = honey, I brought home 5, I guess "we might get chick's hatching....any time in the next two weeks" works.
