Hi all!

I signed up a few days ago and posted in the new members part so I thought I would make another thread in the pictures area to keep you updated on how they are getting on in their adventures!

Here some information before we get to the pictures!

I am 22 years old, I live in Hartlepool (England) and I have had my flock for around 2 month now!

My hens have been rescued from a battery and I took them in straight away and now they are with me able to roam free!, scratch and dig!, Lay in the sun!, Stretch out their wings!, Have a good flap and run around!, Sleep in a comfy coop! And all in a loving, caring and safe home!

They have all came so far and are looking 100 times better, they are getting more confident and growing confidence every day. They all have such great personalities.

I will introduce you each of my girls and some of their qualities then post some pictures from their adventures today!

So here we have..

Pecky Chan

Pecky is my special girl.. Shes a bit dim, I usually have to pick her up out of the chicken run as she sometimes doesn't know how to get out!
Her feathers are getting allot better and have came so far from how she was!
She is usually the first one to run at full speed at the sight of a bit of lettuce and is confident but is still a little scared due to past living environments but she is getting there!

Next up we have Cluck Norris

Cluck is my noisy girl! She loves making a bit of noise! She also loves a bit of lettuce (What chicken doesn't!)
She is my most confident girl as she doesn't run away when you touch her (much!), she is very chilled out and she is gorgeous!
She is also the first out the coop on a morning or during the day for a roam and a dig in the garden!!

And meet Heisenberg

Heisenberg is my biggest girl, her feathers have really came back well and she is getting bigger by the day!
She is my most nervous girl, she doesn't like to be touched and runs away if you get close due to previous living conditions I think.
She has came far and is getting more and more confident and she is gorgeous and such amazing eyes!

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Thanks for looking and here are some pictures from their latest roam in the garden today with plenty of space, sunshine and digging! I will keep this updated with more adventures!

Digging!

Great photos of your hens. It is wonderful they can now scratch, forage and stretch out in the sun. I had the chance to meet some Ex bat girls at a BnB in Cornwall who would jump for treats even from strangers and laid lovely eggs still.

What a life! Thanks for sharing them.
